The best zoos in New Zealand

There’s nothing better than heading to the Zoo on the weekend and watching animals from all around the world, laze about and just enjoying life. Here in New Zealand, there are many wonderful Zoo’s for you to enjoy, each one with something special. We’ve got a list of the five different Zoo’s for you to drop by if you’re in the area!

1. Auckland Zoo 

At Auckland Zoo, there are plenty of picnic spots for you to enjoy some lunch while looking over at the animal enclosures. Still got a sense of adventure? Check these activities out!

2. Orana Wildlife Park in Christchurch

Ever wanted to feed a lion? Well now you can! While you’re in Christchurch, head out on some of these easy day trips.

3. Wellington Zoo 

Over at Wellington Zoo, you’ll be able to see critters such as the happy little Sun Bear! Check out which action blockbuster was filmed in Wellington. Hint: it involves an animal you may see in a zoo!

4. Hamilton Zoo

5. Brookland Zoo in New Plymouth
